MEDSPIN (International Medical Science and Application Competition) is an annual scientific competition that is held for highschool students across Southeast Asia. At its beginning, at the year 2002, MEDSPIN was named differently with the name IPADOK (IPA Kedokteran), The name “MEDSPIN” was then coined at 2004.

At 2013, preliminary rounds started to be held online and this was the beginning of MEDSPIN’s international premise. As of last year, with more than 17 000 participants from across Indonesia and Southeast Asia, MEDSPIN is currently the largest scientific and medical competition of Indonesia.
